Was there anything you didn't bring over from the 'vette? How about the computer? Did you bolt up to the 4L60E?

P.S. My truck is std. cab sport sb. The lesser weight of the alum. block will help balance out the truck vs. a heavy 6.0 cast iron block.

So, you're saying that I could go to the local junkyard, find a LS1 in a camaro or vette and put it straight in my truck? Would it hurt the tranny? A 6.0 should be better in an ext. cab...right?

I even used the sensors from my 5.3 since I didn't know the condition the vette sensors. My truck does sit up about 1" higher in the front know, and seems to ride a little different. Instead of lowering 2&4 I will do a 3&4. Good luck.
