Im going with DART LS1 style heads for my 408 build and was wondering what all is entailed in doing the swap from the truck intake the ls1 intake it is off of a 5.7 vette. Does the bar that holds the tb cables and cruise control cables bolt right on and the rest of the stuff that bolt on?

You need to get an idler relocation bracket from Speartech or Nasty along with a new belt, a LS1 water pump(not needed but will make things alot easier),and the most important thing IMO a 97/98 vette fuel rail. Look for them in classifieds over at Tech,on ebay,or you can buy a modified one at Street&Performance. The reaosn you need the 97/98 Vette style fuel rail is becuase the crossover pipe on the truck fuel rail will sit about 7-8 inchs over the LS1 inatake. it wont look right. Some people use spacer to make the intake sit higher but I dont care for that. The reason you ahve to get a 97/98 Vette style fuel rail is becuase it is like the truck rail in that it uses a return style fuel rail/system.
