Default LQ9 + TR224 = Stock Length Pushrods???

Ok, I've done the search...

I have a TR224 112LSA on the way with 918's & TI retainers for my VHO, my question is for the pushrod length. I want to replace them, but unsure of 7.4 or 7.425? I believe 99silver5.3 said the 7.425 b/c of the smaller base circle of the cam, and I even found a post where if I read it correctly the TR 7.4 rods are similar to Comp 7.425??? So if I get a set of TR's then I'm set? I called TR on Wednesday, and still no response. Someone please help...I want to do this right. Thanks in advance.

Its to make up for the .030 you lose on the base circle of an aftermarket cam. Therefore, 7.4 will be .030" too short. 7.425 or 7.43 is ideal.

So are the TR's listed at 7.4 ACTUALLY 7.425 or did I misunderstand one of your other threads? Or do you have to specify 7.425? Thanks for clearing this up, I am an idiot.

I measured a set at a shop not far from my house. They were 7.43".
