Default vararam intake

hey is there anyone running the intake or is it a joke? i really wonder what it looks like under the hood so if u have pics i would love it see them .where does the air come fromt the middle of the hood?if so my hood as a ram air opening i cut out so i was wondering thanks mike http://www.jegs.com/i/VaraRam/937/VR-6/10002/-1

I dont have any pics at the moment but I noticed a big increase in power in my truck, especially at higher speeds. The only bad part is that the quality could be a little better I think. That pic you have is not the most recent version. The new one doesn't have foam, its like a flexible rubber seal thats more durable.

I had one for about 6 hours then took it back off and sent it back, the truck wasnt hardly getting any air with that POS on. Not a good design with that intake, the tri-power seems to be better but they are all cheaply made and over-priced

I had one switched it to a Volant and never looked back.
The quality of the Vara-Ram intake wasn't the best IMO.

what volant intake i seen a new one that a side opening and front opening and a ram air scoop which one do u guys have

A guy in my apartment complex was just installing one 2 days ago... ill see if i can find him and find out if he noticed any gains from it.

I used to have an AEM brute force intake and all it did was suck in a lot of heat

Went with an outlaw intake and never looked back
