Does anyone make taller valve covers for the gen III truck engines? I have searched most of the usual parts suppliers with no luck.

Thanks for the input. I will probably buy the spacers from thunder, even though that seems like a ridiculous price. The GEN III billet covers look nice, but I still need to mount my coil packs on the covers.

 

No, you won't need them.

gametech-Won't you still need custom wires for the added height of the valve cover? If that's the case, just custom make your wires and re-locate the coils. It'll look alot better and cost about the same. Just a thought.

 

I make several designs that will fit the Gen III motors AND clear ALL rocker setups. The coil relocation kit prototype we have will be done by the end of this week (10-22-04) and should take a couple of weeks to get into production.
