Default Fuel filters

I am ready to install fuel filters on both of my trucks again. I was just wondering what other brands have you all used besides AC Delco?

I bought a no-name brand from pep-boys.. The old one I removed was an AC Delco.

Unlike an oil filter, I see virtually no technological reasons to not buy a FRAM. A fuel filter is a fuel filter.

I don't buy anything from FRAM. if they can't build an oil filter right how am I supposed to trust anything they build. I run WIX or ACdelco on everything I own.

Again, what's wrong with FRAM? Explain to me why they can't build an oil filter. You give no reason other than you don't like them. Just curious.

I have no first experience with FRAM. However, I do stay away from those filter just becauase I have not heard good things from them.

I have seen with my own eyes where FRAM oil filters have come apart in marine engines and caused engine damage. the actual media in the filters comes apart and clogs the discharge of the filter resulting in loss of oil pressure. NOT GOOD. this is not an isolated incodent and has happened to many folks. I don't skimp when it comes to oil filters, fuel filters, etc. There have been many failures reported and like I said I have seen one with my own eyes. A little research will back up what I have told. FRAM filters are not worth the risk IMHO.
