Just replace it with a hydro boost setup and save your self the hassle and noise.

+1 on the hydro boost brakes. I idle at about 10 in of vac with my cam. Stopping power wasnt the best with vac brakes. Much better now.

Is it really THAT simple? I didnt think it was? There isnt to my knowledge a one stop shop to get all the parts needed and the parts for hydro are not cheap right? At least $300 or so correct?

I got everything on ebay except the pedal for 175 shipped. that was hydro booster, reservoir, power steering pump and lines. So 200 for my swap. Very worth it IMO.

I got everything out of the junkyard for $150.. bolt it on and go.
very easy.
Done the samething on my samurai, except had SS braided lines made since the stock ones wouldnt work.

I got the booster and pedal from a junkyard for $50 and the pump at the zone for $3x.
