Default upgrades for a 1000 bucks

i got about 1000 bucks to spend on my truck looking to make it a little quicker its a 96 gmc z71 with a 5.7 . i was thinking a circle d 2800 stall , better tune i have superchips tune and want to kick that to the curb and add some 1.6 roller rockers . does this sound like some noticeable mods worth doing

all i have to say when ur balling on a budget ! get a tune and some n20! its the best bang for your buck! couse the stall is not going to make you faster it's just going to get better et times! so if thats what your aming for N20 is your answer!
