Ok so i am probably going to get alot a flack for just asking this and not searching the forums all day, but since i am deployed and have limited time to get on here i am asking.

first: what all is involved in swapping the intake out on a 5.3 Vortec to such as a LS1 intake and throttlebody? what all parts would i need and what all modifications are required?

second: what all companies make electric fan kits for a 2002 chevy silverado 1500 5.3 vortec? or what have people used on here besides using the 05+ silverado fans or the LS1 fans?

1:To swap out to a ls1 intake (which is a complete waste of time,as the truck intake makes more power) You need to get a car waterpump with spacers at the gaskets and a idler relocation bracket as the car versions t-body sits lower..And your t-body will bolt right up,no modding needed

2:Flex-a-lite 298 fans are direct fit and Permacool makes some as well, Basically any dual fan measuring 28" can be made to work..Or you can go ghetto and get two 14" fans
