UPD or Volant intake

What are your opinions? Advantages and disadvantages of either (if any) would be nice as well.

Anyway, I went ahead and bought a UPD so no need for info. on the Volant.

hmm.... im gonna have to disagree with 03silverado4.8 on this one. go with the UPD, i havent heard of any bad experiences with the UPD. I can't say the same for the volant... Power gains will most likely be higher on the UPD as well judging from dyno numbers
asking if you should get volant or upd is crazy. thats like asking if you should buy ford or gm

Well once I get my UPD (any day now) I'll letcha know how I like it. I currently have an Airaid (which will be going on ebay shortly after the UPD install). I agree with you about the Volant intake, I've read much better things about the UPD than the Volant. I think people go with the Volant for the name. I for one am not impressed with the fact they put a cone filter in a box and have a funky shaped intake tube
