what is wrong with your K&N Intake? I would take the K&N and make a RAM air out of it with some modifications and extendors and maybe some pvc.

Someone on here (BigKig was it?) dyno'd the UPD making like 4-6rwhp more than the K&N setup. All intakes pretty much do the same thing...more airflow for a decent price.

You could always hack the bottom of the stock box and get the direct replacment tube that eliminates the OE resonator pipes...

I got the UPD and love it, also cut away the lower stock box portion. Works great.

I think they are worth ... I have one that has NEVER been used that I will sell for 120 shipped. It is a black one (can spray nitrous into) that I am not going to be able to use. I bought one in chrome awhile back so I don't need 2 of them.

Ya know, I used to badmouth them pretty bad. They sent me a new tube though (took em a while) and I was able to sell the intake.

If you get one, be very, very, very, very, very .... very.... very careful when you tighten the clamp on the hose (the one that clamps the hose onto the tube.

......very careful.

They have an awsome design, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired, maybe the black plastic ones are more durable? Perhaps they are made of a different (stronger?) plastic than the clear or smoked ones.
