UPD problem
#1
Got a UPD for Christmas this morning. For some reason I couldn't get the tube to go completely onto the throttle body. Now the whole setup looks shitty. Anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it.

Mine was a bitch fit but i worked with it until i got it. it looks good and works great. Its isnt to noisy like the K&N which i thought slowed me down power wise.
I would buy it again.Funny thing is they come across on there site and with there phones that they are a huge operation/corporate office, i get the sense they are working out of a garage and mom and pop have regular full time jobs. All preception but more power to them, they should be doing well with the mark up and more power to them, they are the only game in town as far as i am concerned with intakes.(Then again i could be wrong about the preception)

When I had a UPD, I didn't think the fit was very good either. I had to prop up the air box on the maf end to get the tube to hook up and look level, it dipped. I too had a problem with the TB connection, try an use some Vasoline to lube it up and help it slip on. Be careful though, I had a clear tube and it cracked at the TB connection when I was trying to put it on, the black plastic seems a little toughter. Good luck!

I've had mine for about 5 months now. It went on vary quickly and easily. The airbox/maf are supported fine (they don't move). No problems fitting it on the TB. Nothing bad to say about UPD.

yeah i just used a very small amount of vaseline and mine went on fairly easy. getting the tube b/n the fan shroud and TB was the hardest part. other than that i have no complaints what-so-ever about my UPD <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks for the help. I drove to Austin and back today with no problems. I just don't like the clear tube getting scratched by the fan shroud. Maybe Ill try and get it on there better tomorrow.
