- Install Postponed -

Install has been scheduled for today and tomorrow for the last 4 weeks. This date has been scheduled since the last time the install shop screwed us over (21st century musclecars ).

Last month, we took the truck over to them for the install and when we get there, they inform us that they can't get it tuned like we were promised. Didn't call to tell us, just waited until we drive it over. So we got the tuning issues resolved and rescheduled for today. This time, drove the truck over there for the install, guess what? They messed up and wrote down the wrong install date so they had no time to get it done. I double checked the install with them less then 2 weeks ago, not on the phone, I actually drove over and met with them. Main problem is that my buddy's schedule is very full and its super difficult for him to find 2 days off to be there for the install. Now he thinks it may be in May before he can get it scheduled again.

Can someone shoot me? I'm in serious pain here.

bring that bitch over to my house i got mine done in about one day, with some help we could get it done in no time at all. i just want to go for a ride!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

and as good as that shop might be i am almost never happy when i pay someone to do a job for me(they always screw something up), better to just learn how and do it myself.

 

Why don't you take it over to LG Motorsports there in Wylie? They did all my work and quality is top notch. They installed my ARE H/C and ATI. They are gonna be doing my vette motor as well. Jeremy is great and can do LS1 Edit and tune your truck for you. Tell Rick there I sent you.

 

Slowv - believe it or not, he has a couple of extra vehicles. Thanks for the offer.

We talked over lots of options today, including LG and others. After we cooled off, it was decided to stay with these guys. Last thing we want is to have problems and get competing shops pointing fingers at each other. I agree about doing it yourself, but this guy wants to be involved, watch, learn, photograph, but still have it professionally done.
