I've experienced an SLP UD on an '08 5.3.. more hassle then I really wanted.... I did feel a better SOTP pull, but the fact that my Traction/Stabilitrak would keep popping up saying Service every 20mins and also the fact that my steering was alot heavier... I wouldn't do it again...

I guess if I got an overdrive ALT pulley I might just to keep the electrics in check, but just the crank pulley... no way!

Anyone know where I can buy an overdrive alt pulley that would fit with the SLP and stock belt???

Oh ya, comparing this pulley to the stock crank, there is NO way this shouldnt be coupled with the alt pulley. Its just too drastic of a change not to have the alt one. I know someone has to sell the alt pulley alone, but im not sure who. Maybe search for it on summit?

mine isnt coming off but it was slipping... i figured that the a/c tensioner was loose, tightened it up and it was fine. It was just wobbling just enough to cause a squeek.

There was a thread not too long ago with a comparo of the ASP, Powerbond, and factory pulley with pics, IIRC the Powerbond looked to be the highest quality with the biggest lip

My slp pulley has a bigger lip than stock. Ive had it on for a month now. No issues with the belt coming off during 6200rpm shifts.

The underdrive pulley works great with the 4.56 gears. It really improved gas mileage, especially with the A/C on.
