metric threads if I remember correctly, but check me on that.

I F'ed my crank up, even with a longer bolt I had it screwed in there 1/3 of the way, pulled it out, and it was murdered! I stuck a magnet in there and kept pulling out metal. I said "**** this this new cheap bolt, stuck the old one in, and torqued it down to 220 ft/lbs or so. No problems yet!

You can seat the ASP pulley with your old stock bolt and a ratchet, the only problem is if you go back to stock, you'll need a longer bolt to seat the stock pulley.

this tool kit is from oem. i think i payed 20.00 for it. the first pic is the whole set up. the second pic is where i show that i had to cut the main puller threaded piece in order to have room to push it on. you will need a three jaw puller to remove the stocl pully. there are three tabs on it to pull on. i put a 15/16 socket in there with a 5/16 bolt through the hole for the puller to seat on. then i use a dead blow to get the asp started and then use the the installer to put it on. once the installer is very tight i install the bolt with an impact and some loctite. but i use the impact AFTER THE PULLEY IS SEATED. oh yay the threads are M16X2.0

Well, the pulleys are on. I think I had more trouble actually setting up the puller onto the pulley than anything. Once I got it setup, the stock pulley came off with no problems, and the ASP went on with no problems and I was able to just use the new crank bolt provided in the kit and just used a socket and ratchet to seat the pulley. The only problem I encoutered was the alt pulley, I forgot to tell them that I had the 130A alt from a Tahoe and the overdrive pulley wont work with that alt so I had to put my old 105A alt back on for now. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in circumference b/w the 130A and 105A alt pulleys b/c the only difference I can see is the that on back of the pulley on the 130A alt its just smooth and on the 105A and the one I got in the kit have a small spacer made onto it.
