HEY GUYS,
This is a great sight. I got an exhaust Question. Im going to put dynomax Ultraflows (oval) on my 01 EXT. 4X4 5.3, Does anybody run these? My buddy run these on his 87 silv. dumped. They sounded great. My worry is resonance in the cab?? I didnt pay enough attention to his to remember. I am cutting the dual pipes before the Y into 1, and running two mufflers and pipes out the back! Does anybody know the noise lever in the cab( Daily driver).... Also is there any good ways to hide the pipes under the bumber.

I just installed a single 3" Dynomax race bullet and split the tailpipe into 2 pipes out the back. Its the best sound i've ever heard from a truck! I previously had a Magnaflow in place of my stock muffler and hated it...lots of resonance inside the cab. The only sound I get now is the buttery smooth, deep rumble coming from the pipes out the back....no resonance at all. My truck is an 01 5.3 and my only other mod is a K&N FIPK.

Thanks for the info gregg, Anybody have any exhaust exit pictures. I would like to hide the tips under the bumper, or set them back. Big chrome tips are really worn out around here, u see them on everything, Id like to do something a little different.
I also have the K&N FIPK.
