What about trans temp sensor...as your 65E likely doesn't have one...but the 80E that was bolted to the 6.0 did.

Trans temp sensor is internal Jordan. 4L60e's have them as well, just no gauge hooked up to them normally. If you put in a 2500 cluster, the tranny temp gauge will work, and you can also read the temp using logging/tuning software.

Looks like the connector for the Variable orifice solenoid on the power steering pump.

Hmmmm...didn't know that...thanks man.

So the temp sensor data is sent on a line in the large round plug than I take it.

i just looked at my harness again....i couldnt find a red plug on it...

the oil level sensor is black the crank sensor is black then theres a ground i think goes to the starter. and then one more small black plug.

thats it for passenger side beside maf sesnso and low coolant level.

its driver side..it comes down out of the main harness that goes from the fusebox to the top of the motor..it comes down toward the steering and goes under the motor toward the starter..the plug is on the drivers side below the power steering and such..

also just to clarify, i kept the harness in the truck and just swapped motors..it had to be hooked to something because part of the female end was on it, but broken

I pulled out my service manual. Only plug in that area that looks like that is the coolant sensor in the drivers head.
