Well, I'm no transmission expert, but I think Whitt's trannies died on him so much bcause he was so heavy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is the reason why our trucks hold up so poorly compared to the Camaros and other cars w/ 4L60E's in them. The cars can handle more power because they are under less stress because of less weight.

I would think if you beef up a 4L60E, it should be able to handle a considerable amount of power, given the right combination of parts, an depending on if your a ex-cab or a shortie.

I might be wrong... but hopefully if I am, someone will correct me.
