Default Turbocharger-any new news?

I've looked over past threads about turbochargers for trucks and I would like to know how the STS system has turned out and the setup cmotorsports has, if they have a complete one. I'm just curious if anybody has one on there truck or if anybody is or has fabricated there own turbo setup. I know the difference between superchargers and turbos, the lag, pros and cons, etc.....so you don't have to waster your time explaining that. Anybody got an affordable way to turbocharger my silverado???

Ive got my own turbo set up in the works at home. Bad thing about building your own kit is all the fabrication. If i had $5k i'd just get the one parish has. It seems to do ok.hahhaha

You can build your own turbo kit for much less than you can purchase one, BUT after the fab and working out all the bugs i'm sure you'll be wishing you'd have bought the kit. JMO

So does parish have a complete turbo kit for sale? If so, how much? I wish I could fabricate one to save $$$$ but I'm not that exducated in turbos.

Parish doesn't sell em. He bought his from CMotorsports. You could contact them and see when they will have a kit available. If you are not trying to make record power then hit up STS for a basic kit or an upgrade kit like I have with the GT35 turbo.

Hey F8LPONY,

I am can't wait to see what kind of #'s your set up puts out. are you going to dyno it and get some runs in at the track when you get it all together ???

Yeah, I defiantely have to dyno it to get the fuel and boost settings right so I'll have those #s. My before and after #s wont be perfect though because I am making more power now than what shows in my sig because i have gained about 2mph since then.

When this bad boy gets finished I'll be at the track quite a bit trying to get it dailed in. I won't be anothr Parish but I am still hoping for a significant increase. I only live about 1/2hr away from the track so it's pretty easy for me to get there. Just expensive to race
