everyone bashes the 4.8..but people dont remember that the current 4.8 has more power than the 5.3 did untill 2006 i believe...and that the early model 6.0's '(untill 02 i believe) were rated at 300hp, and now the 4.8 is rated at 295.
If it was me i would stick with the 4.8 and turbo the hell out of, be different and spank all those bolt on packed 6.0's. Good luck man, and keep us posted
that is ofcourse if you have a "new 4.8" if your new truck is just new to you and its the truck in your sig, i would look at doing a low mileage swap..being an 02 it no doubt is starting to accumulate some miles too.

i looked up the specs on the Z06 cam (205/219 .551/.549 117 LSA) << and someone please correct me if i am wrong on those specs but i was kinda looking for something a little bit bigger in size of the cam if it will be a good idea. something more like a 212/212 .558/558 113 LSA ?? im not sure though...
Corvette Cam
02-04 12565308 204/218 .555/.551 117.5 405hp
Just start out with a turbo and go slow from there..
75 shot plus boost is alot!!
Here is what mine did just to give you an idea..
13.2@104 on 5#
12.5@111 on 5# and 50 shot.
50 shot dropped me 7 tenths and gained 7mph..
So if you do decide to spray, start low around 35 and you will learn.
