On mail order tunes or tunes Via HPT or Edit, typically how is the Tow/Haul Button incorporated?

in hptuners its under performance settings for the trans
shift firmness ,shift time ,rpm and mph
and maybe more
I find something new everyday

thanks, do you know how its typically used, i.e. off for normal driving, Tow/Haul for HaulAss mode?

some over at the "other board" have mention that they have programmed the normal transmission transmission modes around stock for fuel milage, etc and used the tow haul (performance mode) settings much more agressive for racing, etc.

Yep ive seen it mentioed they do kinda performance tuning for regular driving then for Tow/haul mode they do a all out Race setting.

I just left the tow/haul alone, since it relly doesn't do much with an emty truck anyway. My tranny is set for haulass mode all the time.LOL!!!

Man...every since I dropped my laptop, I swear some of the keys don't work when I push them. I gotta start proof reading.

I have noticed that when i turn on my Tow Haul it cancels out the Firm Shifts of my PCMFORLESS tune.... I dont know much other than that....
