Default tuning files for trucks

Ive been doing alot of researching and reading on tuning and have been looking for other tune files for the 5.3 trucks and have found little aside from the horist site http://www.horist.com/hptuner/ and they are very basic. Im thinking it could help out alot of the truck enthusiasts if we had some more posts in this area, I know alot of people have hp tuners

Personnaly Im especially interested in trucks with heavier mods I would really like to see some of the peoples tunes that are running milled heads and cam setups on an NA engine. Maybe one of the "locals" in here could host them
or you can send your tunes to me and Ill organize them and see if we can get someone to host them.

preciate it

I think the idea is great also. Although I dont know anything about tunning, I will be getting my HPT in a month or 2 and would like to see what every one is running. This would also help out future tunners aswell.

my email is cmcguigan@triad.rr.com
you can send me your bin files or a specific tune done in excel Ill upload them on the horist website, so far they have very little tunes for the 5.3 and the ones that are there are from hypertech programmer and stock tunes.

check it out

http://www.horist.com/hptuner/search.asp?action=exe

the ls1 guys have hundreds of tunes uploaded and its made thier venture into heavier mods alot easier because they have the tunes to back up the mods and they dont have to reinvent the wheel everytime they modify something.

Have you submitted it? I will submit mine as well although it isnt very good. Maybe we could also set something up where we could post logs for our setups!! That would really be awesome. We seem to have some resident wiz tuners so this could really be beneficial to our little group.
Im in.

But if everyone did this, it would lower the demand for those $500 tunes

Ive paid for two tunes and Ive come to the realization that if you want it done right you have to do it yourself. Believe me the professional tuners arent hurting for business.
