I haven't done it myself, but just be cautious about going MAF-less like the F-bodies because I believe truck MAFs and FBody MAFs are different. My understanding is that the F-Body versions are 4-wire connectors and the truck versions have 5-wire connectors. The difference being that the truck MAFs also have the IAT sensor in them whereas the F-Body units do not.

Someone please confirm this.
