Default tune question

Hey guys got another question for y'all I'm installing my 212/218 low lift cam and I was wondering if I can get by without a tune for a little bit I don't want to pay my tuner 100 bucks to tune the cam when in less than a month I'm getting my converter put in. Do you think it will run okay for a month without the tune?

I would not recommend it...just have him adjust the shift points at the same time. The stock converter will lock up later but it will be fine.

yeah you can get by without a tune for alittle while for stuff like headers or intake swaps but if its internal then you want to get a tune asap since a cam changes the way your engine acts completely.
