Default True duals???

Anyone here have true duals? I'm thinking of setting up true duals with an "H" pipe and cutouts then dump it before the axle when I do the headers. If anyone has pics or links to them that would be cool. Right now I have a Dynomax "welded" 1 in 2 out muffler and would actually like it a little quieter. I don't want Flows or Gibson. Any suggestions?

I am going to install true duals on my truck pretty soon. I have the 2 flowmasters and the Magnaflow x-pipe already sitting in my closet. Check out http://sshotrods.com/myrides/gmc/ to see the setup I am going with. I am going to wait until after the dyno day to have them installed. Then I can see what kind of gains I will get.

That is the exact link I was looking for. I have seen it before and could not remember where. Thanks Y2K2. Any more ideas are still welcome

I am very happy with the sound from my single Borla XL muffler. It replaced a 40 flow, and has much less drone at 1800 RPMs.

I recently removed my cats, so the sound level is up some.

The link in the post above is a buddy of mine and those are 2.5" pipes all the way back (the x has 2.5" in/outs and a 3" center core). His truck sounds badass too. I am going to do mine similar to that also but i am going to use magnaflows and keep mine going strait out the back (since I paid too much for some stainless tips a while back). Right now I have the 3in/dual 2.5out Magnaflow.

That one is a Magnaflow and you can get them at Husker Performanceor check with your local exhaust or performance shop.

Where did you get your hood? That is the exact hood I have been looking for. Your truck looks mean with that hood.
