For stock to "mild" small blocks, a certain amount of back pressure is required. My experience is that true duals provide even less back pressure than singles and as a result their benefit is noticed more so in top end horsepower. This increase in top end horsepower comes at the expense of low end torque. Is this true for the LS1 motors? I am currently running a 1990 350 and am starting to look at new trucks. I am strictly interested in low end torque for street use.
