Default True dual 2.5" exhaust system w/ pics

This is my new exhaust sytem I had installed a few months back. It is custom stainless steel y-pipe w/ 2.5" magnaflow metallic cats with an x-pipe, that oxidizr (Richard from P-tech made).

A local muffler guy used 2.5 aluminized piping and used pre-bent pipes to make it a semi-mandrel system. There is a flange after the x-pipe so I can take the exhaust off when I need to go see the Cali smog cops. lol Muffler is a Magnaflow 14469 stainless steel 2.5 dual in/out with turndowns after the muffler before the axle.

here are the pics, kind of crappy because I didnt have access to a lift.

Looks like a pretty good job but one question, why are the pipes run under the cross member instead of over it?

Its actually the dust cover that I am missing. I ordered it 2 weeks ago.

It is pretty loud, not annoying though. It does resonate in the cab between 1800-2300 rpm. The muffler was like $120.00. It is a 14” case with an x in the muffler.

I wanted the pipes ran as high as possible because the truck is lowered and I didn’t want the pipes to scrape.

Hey J,

I'm assuming that muffler is a straight-thru design like most of the Magnaflows are?

Yes it is straight through design. They call it the tru-x perforated core. Here is the lnk to it.

Nice! I've been trying to find a pair of those cats myself.

I have a set of old-school ramps just like those, my front tires fit in them a little better though!
