If you are talking about the 4l60e, the only difference is the torque converters are different sizes from f-body to truck. The bellhousing I also beleive is just a little different, being a two part for the trucks, and a single with removable bottom panel for the f-body. I forget for sure, was looking into that originally last year!

Yeah, it should, I noticed when I looked into shift kits, that they listed different part numbers for the shift kit if it was either a truck, or the f-body. I guess the transmission shift points are completely different between the two vehicles. I believe that the f-body kit is better if you have programmed your truck to shift like a car.
I hope I am not wrong on this, can't really remember everything that I found out when I was looking for a performance build.
