Its a performabuilt 9.5, I was told it was a 2800, but it is as loose as my friends circleD 3800

ahhh nice, figures since it's a 9.5" converter. Have you dyno'd your current setup?

Ya 318/289 some where around there, I could not get the TC to lockup and it was a 3rd gear pull

Nice, that's not too shabby for a LR4. I've had a few issues with TC lockup since I did the trans/converter, but I found a few threads on HPTuners that seemed to have helped my issues. Min duty = 90, Max duty = 100

You're lucky they let you do a 3rd gear pull. Most shops around here are too scared to dyno trucks in 3rd gear

Ya, I can't get mine to lockup in 3rd wot, but that's ok. Ya taking my truck up to 7k in 3rd on the dyno was a little scary, not to mention it freaking screams at wot

haha yeah I've taken mine to 143mph coming back from our beach house one day and it was screaming. Did you make power all the way to 7000? When I go WOT and shift at 6800 on the street it makes my nuts cringe everytime I do the 1-2, mostly because of the bottom end not so much the trans or rearend lol
