Well i got the mechanical fuel pressure gauge on the truck... Well at idle ~60psi, WOT ~56-58psi... So all that seems normal, so looks like i don't need a pump... Also these tests were done with the gas gauge just a little bit above "E"... So i still need to figure out what is causing it to run retarded...

Have you checked your TB?? Mine did that when the carbon build up was bad, it wouldn't let the throttle blade close all the way and will idle funny and die. it is somewhat consistent with low fuel because of the EVAP. I would try cleaning your TB really good and see if that helps. Just my .02.

Many have...if you search "Walbro" (sp?) or "Walbro 255" you should find a lot of info...I remember seeing pics too. I'd search the entire GM section btw...

UPDATE:
Well i messed around with the Throttle follower, cracker and desired airflow, nothing really seemed to help.... But I finally noticed it was shifting really quickly threw the gears, for example ~23mph in 4th.... when it did that the truck was having a hard time holding a steady cruise, then it starts surging, then the trims freak out, the tune learns those freaked out trims, then it starts running like crap.. So i upped all the Part throttle shift points so now i don't even shift into 4th until 40mph and lowered the idle learning stuff... Thing are much better so now i can finally start working on the throttle cracker and follower stuff... Hopefully i will have some time to work more on it...

I kinda had the same issue, but at the same time I had a few EVAP issues pop up. I cleaned up the solenoid on the intake and it seemed to fix the EVAP code, and my idle was a wee bit better. This TR224 has some weird idle surges sometimes, although it runs perfectly 95% of the time at idle

Another Update:
Well i seemed to have fixed the problem, it actually had nothing to do with any of the stuff i posted in this thread, so go figure... Basically it was that damn Dorman intake.... Last Saturday i yanked it off and put the stock truck intake back on... Did a quick retune because the idle and off idle areas (2874-4875Hz range) was PIG rich, i had to take out about 10% in that area, on my MAF... It was previuosly tuned with my wideband so apparently the intake flows like complete **** in the lower areas...
Since going back to the truck intake, my truck has not surged, stumbled or died on me once... Throttle response in the low to mid areas is greatly improved... So that is that...
Any questions feel free to ask...
