Default Truck just feels SLOW.... Suggestions?

I got the truck a few years back with about 30k miles and even though a 4.8 is no beast it would still have no issues burning the 16" goodyears up from a stop or slow roll, and pull fairly hard. Recently i installed 18' titan wheels, an AirAid MIT tube and replaced the Stock box with a 4" cone K&N...and added a 3" single exhaust dumped with a hooker Aerochamber muffler and it seems like the truck is a now a DOG! I have replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter and other things to make it possibly wake up but with no luck? These mods dont "seem" too big but did i kill what little torque i had? I cant even powerbrake this thing to spin

? possibly just tired with 112K now?
? possibly a fuel pump gettin old and losing Pressure and volume?

Thanks in advance guys....

+1 on the tires, with my stockers, I could fry em at a stop and about a 25 roll but with my 20's aint gonna happen.

285/50/18 inch nittos..... was the same size as far as height but not in width or weight. The best way i can describe the truck is like having say a 283 ci small block with a huge victor Jr and an 800 cfm carburetor lol... you punch it and it has to roll out and build some revs and steam... one local guy suggested it could be the fuel pump getting weak and starving the motor for fuel??

Mine has 140,000 on it now and it has surely lost some pep in its step, I think its just worn out.LOL Of course I havent check the fuel pressure or ever replaced the pump or filter, so this could have a little to do with it. Also, I am pretty sure my trans is slipping some at WOT. But mine will still burn the hell out of some tires.LOL

I think that's very unlikely. In my case, the fuel pump just went. No warning or anything, it just died while driving.

I think you're underestimating how much those tires are hurting you. I went from stock 245/70/16s to 285/60/18s on all 4 corners and it made a huge difference.

Sounds like classic behavior from the ol' 4.8; mine doesn't seem to wake up until about 3k rpm at the least. Couple the lack of low-end with heavier wheels/tires and you've only exasperated the issue.

And +1 on the fuel pump being pretty binary. Usually it's either working or its flat-lined, not too much in between, but anything can happen.
