The alternator bracket needs the idler pulley moved over and down about 3" to clear the TB...the stock TB will work fine...you need to get a belt that is about 6" longer to connect it all together too

One other thing that you all will find out the hard way.....you NEED the fuel rails and crossover tube from a '97-'98 C5...it is the ONLY "LS1-type" intake equipped vehicle that came with a return-type fuel system like the one in out trucks...it makes that part of the install plug and play and as long as you have the f-body injectors and the ability to splice wires the install is VERY EASY
You WILL need tuning to compensate for the bigger injectors once you do the swap also......If tuning is not an option for you there IS a way to do the swap with the truck rails, crossover, and injectors, if you want info on that please feel free to ask.....it DOES involve cutting on the intake to lower the rail mounting pads and the tools necessary to bend and flare tubing (you've been warned)

The truck fuel rails and crossover work fine, as for the idler pulley just cut it off. As for performance gains my truck was running 12.8 at 104 before and then 12.3 at 108 after. My truck pulls very hard on the top end now, but that may because the cam I'm running and also shift points.
