Default Truck intake versus LS6 for large displacement

Does anyone know the flow difference in the truck intake versus the LS6 intake? I am planning to get a 422/427 built for the Escalade later this year or early next year. Another question, can the 6.0L heads on the Escalade make the power of the LS6 heads(assuming both ported and polished)? Depending on the price of this whole deal, the FAST intake may be in the running as well, if it is released as expected.

The LS6 manifold is better without question. The truck manifold people like because it has longer runners so they say(longer by 1 whole mm). But the LS6 manifold can't be used on a truck without modifying the serpentine belt set up.
LS6 heads and LQ9 6.0 heads are pretty much identical

its essentially combustion chamber size, and some slight flow CFM #s are different. They both have D-shaped exhaust ports, and yada yada. So there wont be an extreme difference between the two.

As far as the serpentine belt system and accessories, is there a major reason why I cannot adapt the LS1 brakets to the new motor upon reassembly? I can probably find or get most of the brakets for a reasonable price and I am going to eliminate the engine driven fan during this swap as well. This would also be nice, as I see the guys with the electric water pump are seeing some nice results and I could put this in on top of it as well. I am hoping to create a torque monster without going to forced induction, but I would like to keep everything working.

That is exactly what you would have to do. Basically everything on the front of the motor will need to be swapped over to the LS1 type. Shouldn't be too difficult to get.

Are you going to go w/ an aluminum block or CI block?

Currently, the plan is the CI block with a 4.00" stroke. I am talking to a few of the sponsers about the 4.125" stroke still, but I want to keep oil consumption low. I am getting some mixed messages about the 4.124" stroke an oil consumption, so I am still researching. It looks like my plan to go to full LS1 front accessory routing and the electric water pump may need some rethinking as well(looks to be around $1K).
