You never have to go get refills with a chip.

I would do the Edge Juice Box, Exhaust, Gauge Package, and maybe an intake. You would be set at that point. Check out our Duramax section: http://www.azspeed.com/dudisi.html

Plan on spending $5,000 on upgrading your tranny to handle it. The Allison will never handle all that extra torque if you leave it stock. It will blow up even faster if you run this extra power while towing. A place called SunCoast makes bullet proof Allison tranny's for $5000.

well i wouldnt say it will blow up instantly. kinda like f-body rearends, they dont just explode right away, just if you beat on it, it will eventually give up. the trannys are rated up to 520 ft-lbs of tq, ironicaly the amount the motor puts out. any more power and the tranny could suffer. we run the Edge "Hot" Juice Box 125/300 setup. LOVE IT! you can find the post here in this section somewhere not long ago, but we made 358 rwhp and 738 rwtq on a truck 5 days old! Think about the drivtran loss through a allison 5 speed auto with tranny break and 11.5" 14 bolt rearend! i would think around 900 ft-lbs at the motor could be a real total! totally stock other than that chip it has that potential. the tranny hasnt broken but just use your head, allow the tranny to cool off, and dont drag race so much. if you want to race or have a heavy nutty foot, then you will buy another tranny built up sooner than later. but hey what do you expect? i would say def hold off on propane and nitrous and dont buy into that show Trucks lol. the chip will make more power than either of those and a chip took me 5 minutes to hookup!

oh yea, and we are looking into a propane kit already....and the 30 day plates are still on it!

The converter in the trans takes a dump first. Then you begin to slip in 3rd and 5th. You can get both of these fixed for only $3000 appx...

Just start with a programmer (quadzilla or edge) or dual programmers like (duramaximizer + tech IV). Get the power up and toss on a big exhaust. Then you will need a converter upgrade. The consider some propane. If you want some spray then get the valve body upgrade.

After that you will need to rebuild the Allison internals for extreme power. ATS is the only place I know that builds them...Suncoast only makes converters from what I thought.
