Truck doesn't start after cam install help..
#1
More heads are better than one so after swapping cam head gaskets, oil pump swap and valve springs the truck doesn't start.... It turns over and over no fire... Need some ideas it say for a week with the battery disconnected and the heads were disassembled and cleaned.

depends on the year of the truck. cam sensor is most likely on top of the engine behind the intake, and the crank is on the passenger side of the block just above the starter. if you have a gen IV engine the cam sensor will be on the front of the timing chain covor.
make sure all of your grounds behind the heads are connected too.

Reason I say during the cam swap I had to wait on the correct head studs while apart I hooked up computer to get my doors locked and unlocked.... Pretty sure that was a bad idea
