Default Truck doesn't start after cam install help..

More heads are better than one so after swapping cam head gaskets, oil pump swap and valve springs the truck doesn't start.... It turns over and over no fire... Need some ideas it say for a week with the battery disconnected and the heads were disassembled and cleaned.

Sounds like something wasn't plugged back in after the install. Gotta make sure all the sensors are plugged up

check for spark. if no spark, id look for connections to the coil packs (main harness) plug wires then cam and crank sensor. look for the easy stuff first.

depends on the year of the truck. cam sensor is most likely on top of the engine behind the intake, and the crank is on the passenger side of the block just above the starter. if you have a gen IV engine the cam sensor will be on the front of the timing chain covor.

make sure all of your grounds behind the heads are connected too.
