Do you have any studder or anything when you give it gas or when you try to accelerate?? Or is it just an idel/starting issue.

My 92 did the same thing when the fuel pump started going south. It got progresivly worse. It was fine at highway speeds but accelerateing and ideling it had problems. I got a new pump and it fixed it right up. I would try what nightrunner said and maybe changing the fuel filter first tho. That is just my two cents. Hope you get it going good again.

yeah, ill try to clean the throttle body, and check the fuel regulator also. i already changed the fuel filter and cleaned the injectors, and i doubt its the fuel pump, but that might be it. thanks for the help.

Sounds like classic symptoms of your fuel pressure regulator gone bad. Yank that vacuum line off to your FPR and see if it drips with gas.

Could also be the idle bypass solenoid on the side of the throttle body.
