Default Truck died on me tonight, wtf

I posted a thread about 2 weeks ago about a lurch I felt occassionally on the highway, like i punched the gas for a split second. I talked to Vince about it being a trans issue, and he thought it sounded like a tps issue with the tune. Fast forward to today i'm driving back home and the truck died on the road, no stutter or anything prior to it. I'm dumbfounded, the tune worked great for 4 mos prior to this. Oh and I got it scanned at an autozone and no codes popped up. Plugs were replaced 10k miles ago, fuel pump 25k ago. My air filter is a bit dirty but throttle response seems normal. What the hell could this be

My **** did the same thing to me today. Stuck in the middle of a 2-lane hwy and it was pouring. I had to call the cops to get a little protection so I wouldn't be wearing anyone front end in my tailgate. Flatbed showed and a five mile ride back to the house.

But what happened to me, light turned green, I stepped on the gas (not stomping on it) and then no go-go. Engine was idling nicely too. Some ideas of what could have happened, trans selector clip has a little play, torque converter, or the piece de la resistance, a new trans.

So the Chariot is sitting still in the driveway.

Does it crank? I'd start with checking for a blown fuse or loose ground...

fuel pump relay?
Make sure you have power coming out of the relay.

The grounds all seem good, truck starts and idles like normal. Another forum suggested the crankshaft position sensor, could this be the culprit if it's going out? Thanks for the replies so far.

My truck would idle just fine, when I would try and give it any gas what so ever it would unresponsive. My TB is DBW and what I found to be the problem was my TPS. I went to the dealer and bought a new TB. Bolted it on, and not a single problem since. I was also getting REDUCED ENGINE POWER on the display
