so the t rex cam would be good on a 8.7 to 1 compresion motor without FI

Why would you want a low compression motor if you werent going to go forced induction? If you go FI then get something in the 8.5:1-9:1 range and something with a wider lsa around 114 if oyu are going to use the bottle then I would go with a bit narrower lsa so you would have better na performance and whatever you get with the nitrous is a bonus.

Theengine wont respond as well as it would with a cam with a 114lsa but your na performance will be better and the torque curve will start lower. I want badass na performance and whatever I get with the nitrous is a plus. I want it to be strong without a power adder. Plus a cam with a 112lsa like the cam in my sig will have a badass idle.

that is why i like this cam so it would be ok to use nitrous with this cam but if i was going with FI down the road i should get a higher lsa cam just to be safe right. or do you think i will be ok with this one the most boost i will probably go with is 8psi or even maybe a 150 shot of nitrous or i might just stay all na

The t-rex will work fine for nitrous, like I said before it just wont respond as well to it as a 114lsa cam but will ahve a nasty idle and give really good na performance. The cam will work for FI but just not as well.

Using the flat top eagle piston with a -2cc valve notches in it and the dart ls1 heads but Im getting the combustion chambers cleaned up and enlarged to 66cc to get bring the CR back down to a streetable level.
