Default Trick 76mm Turbo - Offshore Turbo OK or Upgrade to Precision/ Other

Hey all, I just got my Trick Stage 2 kit. I opted for their offshore 76mm turbo. I'm considering contacting them and trying to exchange it for a Precision unit, or other. Any thoughts on this? My combo will be a basic 5.3L LM7, Tick turbo truck cam, E85, AEM methanol kit, 4L80e + Circle D converter. A pretty standard build, but I want to put some miles on this truck. I'm worried about the offshore turbo longevity, or should I be? Anyone with high mileage on their offshore turbo?

To choda, is that a Magnum? Or master power? I have seen lots of people using "mp" just wasn't sure what they were referring to. Mine is magnum fwiw.

Masterpower hasn't been around in many yrs. Magnum took over for master power

All of the chinese turbos lately seem to do well vs previous yrs ago.

Some will tell ya Magnum is Brazil but it has Chinese parts

Magnum isn't around any more either. Same guy who was importing the Master power when they quit shipping state side started importing the Magnums. Then he started another business and pretty much let his turbo business die.

I quite buying them a couple years ago because everything was always "3 weeks out" and he never got anything in. Hard to sell turbo kits when you can't get turbos!! lol But I have to agree with George, the longevity of the Chinese turbo's has gotten a lot better.
