Default transmission shifting questions

I have an 02 silverado with a 5.3 liter engine. I just deleted torque management with ls1 edit and turned up my shift points, line pressure etc. From 1-2 the transmission changes slowley but from 2-3 and 3-od the transmission shifts quick and decently hard. how do I make 1-2 shift like all the others instead of it dragging out. would It have something to do with the TCC in ls1 edit?

Install a vette servo it will help with the 1-2 shift. From what i understand it is a pretty easy install and cheap to buy
You could also play with the Desired shift time it uses
What mods do you currently have ?

I'd like to know more about this corvette servo. Where can I buy it and where does it go on the truck. Do you have to open the transmission pan up to install?
thanks for any info!

2000 Silverado SS no you don't have to drop the pan. It is very easy to do, but the first time you do it might take up to an hour. After than you can do it in 15 minutes. Look on the right side of you transmission by the cat. You will see a heat shield, use a 10 mm socket to take out the 2 bolts and you will see a round hole up there, this is where the servo goes.

I had a similar problem when I removed my TQM with ls1edit. But mine slid into every gear. It was like it could not shift with the extra power on it. I have a lot more playing to do with it though.

I've got the HPP shift firmness is mine and it is bone-jarring on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts!

I get some really hard chirpage at times into second gear that actually makes the truck bed shake. Mornings are especially brutal when the trans is cold, it's a quick, firm shift. I'm wondering if this is bordering on 'too much' crispness.

I think the Vette servo is for the 1-2 shift.

will a vette servo help on a slightly slipping transmission? mostly just the 2-3.
