Have you considered a 4L80E?Stronger transmission taller more closely spaced first and second gears.You would need a stand alone computer to control shifting,a different flexplate and converter and a modified driveshaft.It will fit.

i have the ATI kit, i think its my inexperience more than the kit itself but yeah its been hell. hopefully edit will set me straight with a lot of help from parish and GMC ski hopefully ill get this thing driveable again its frustrating just sitting here waiting its not my trucks fault that i dont know what im doing good luck with your tranny i wanna see some video next time you run that thing!

Man i haven't driven mine since last AUGUST!!!. But it should be done by the end of the month and off to the dyno i go.

LM7, those big injectors will barely run without tuning. I have messed with mine for months, myself. I was lined up with a shop, w/dyno, but they turned out to be complete idiots, that I would never let touch my truck. They are the only wideband dyno in the state :\
If I could, I would still have a base tune done by a dyno shop, and then I could mess with it a little. Now if I can get an intake setup somehow w/o elec fans I would be happy. Sam
