transgo advise
I remember reading about the transgo that hitmanx installed in his truck. He said something about wanting to remove a washer because it was to rough. I am installing my transgo and corvette servo, but i need some advice from you guys that have done it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well with the billet servos and the single washer in my 1-2 accumulator I could bark my 285 AT's at ~4000rpms! The billet apply servos VASTLY improve the load capacity on the 2-4 band. Basically make the shifts a lot quicker/firmer...sorta like adding washers but the billet servos clean up all the shifts.
When you install the TransGo and 'Vette servo, I recommend NO washers in the 1-2 accumulator. The washers everyone talks about only effect the 1-2 upshift. No washers will keep all the shifts about the same firmness.
I hope that helps...ask me more if you need to!

I wuz going to bring the ol' Blue Oval out there (hey I am more proud of that than my Z71 due to all the mods) but I suppose I can bring my Z there. It is laughably slow so don't expect anything too great from it.
I am wondering if your trans shifts too hard...and that's causing the problems you are encountering.
