Default Trans Help

I'm spraying a 125 shot now on a 02 5.3 with my P275/60R17 street tires 2.05 60ft.
I going to order a set of 15 inch rims and a set of BF-drag TA 315/60R15 I know the trans and converter will not last. What is the best way to go, buy a new trans and conv. or just buy a new Yank and have the stock trans built?
If I have to buy a new trans what is the best one?

With drag TA's and 150 shot should get into the 8.30's in the 1/8

15 inch rims won't fit on the 99-03 trucks. The will not clear the calipers.
