Question Trans Go and billet servo's with a stall?

I am torn...

I am fixing to get a 3200 stall converter for my Z71. I want to do a tranny upgrade while I am installing the converter. I have installed trans go's before and they work great. I have read about many options you can do to these 4l60's. I want firm shifts but not neck snapping. So what kind of combination will suit?

Thanks,
Sean

I have a TT3000, transgo, vette servo with one washer in the 1-2 accumulator. The washer will be comming out when I do a fluid change this weekend because it shifts too hard for my tastes. All other shifts are great though.

Gustin you peckerhead, why don't you answer your phone!! Anyway, hows the truck? Do you ever tow with it, like the camaro? Are you gonna go with Yank or a Vig? Well if you tow, stick to the tt3k, if not, then I am sure you know what to do. I just got a transgo and billet servo's. Haven't installed them yet, but working on it. Hows the cam running with the nos?

Sorry James I must have missed your call did you leave a message? This offshore thing is whooping up on me now. I will give you a shout when I get back on land. I am going to get that new Yank 3200 10" converter that is capable of towing 7K pounds. Where can I get this billet servo.

You can see the New best ET for the 67 in the sig. The N20 shut off at the 1k ft mark via window switch because I ran out of gear

Thanks for the info Bigkid.

Nice times, what gears you running in that beast? You have a nine in that right? Do I hear a nodular swap coming? Anyway, check here for the kit http://www.tbyrne.com/truckcatalog.html

The servo's you can get from

http://www.superior-transmission.com...superservo.htm

http://www.superior-transmission.com...uper_servo.htm

Not sure if it will be a link, if not, just cut and paste. That will take you directly to what you need, well its what I have anyway and seems to be the right stuff. Hows the truck running now a days? Any time to get to the track with it yet? Knowing you, you have, but no times posted in sig for the truck.
edit: oh and the new proyanks are supposed to handle that but most people don't think it will, prolly toast the trans if you tow alot. You could just get a big *** cooler with a fan if needed.

Later,
jz

I have 4.56's in the 67 with 28" ET streets. I am going to a 30" true slick for the next time at the track. It was all over the place through 1st and 2nd gear. Made that track look like a river.

I havent ran the truck yet. Mods on the truck now is: 5 inch Rancho suspension lift, 16 x 10 Mickey T Classic 2's with 33's, Sir michaels roll pan, Tahoe grille with putco inserts, Gibson catback, K&N FIPK, ASP underdrive pulley, Meziere Electric waterpump, Electric fans and coming soon when I get back to land: AS&M long tOObs, cam, and converter with tranny upgrades.

Thanks for the info on the servos and kit!
