My fourth gear and third gear went out last week, and i removed the trans the other day and took it to a trans guy. It seems the third gear clutch assembly fell off and destroyed itself and messed up the inner shaft and drum/housing. I think a snap ring fell off and caused this.

I order some baddass parts for replacements.

A HP torque drive assembly, very tough, up to 800lb/fts.
Raybestos "Blue" clutches
Stronger 2/4 band, the original one was stock
Overhaul kit and filter,

I hope this helps me out, i'm going to use the shaft assembly in my next, very hp tranny, if ever.
This definitely takes out of my future mods, oh well, i rather pay $400 for parts than $1800 for a new trans.

The worst part, I have my 30# injectors, fuse box and lowering kit waiting, and my truck is broke, darn.

That does suck. At least when you get it rebuilt it will be able to handle what you plan on dishing out to it.
