Ok, in a couple weeks (when it gets here), I will be installing a tranny cooler on the truck. its got the stock 4l60e with 73k miles on it, the previous owner beefed up the shifting (no delay, no tq manage, up the line pressure ect), when the tranny is not to hot it will bark the tires on down and up shifts for 1 and 2. Now, here is my issue when I fill the tranny fluid after installing to the cooler, what should I use to fill it? I was thinking the lucas tranny oil, but I was told that may be to slick, anyone have any opinions? I want to keep it shifting nice and firm.

Yes no tq management will make it fry quicker but if properly built it will be fine. Just use normal atf you will be fine you can add a little bit of lucas tranny additive to it and that will be fine. Just my .02
