#1
well on the way outfrom work like i always do i
floor it and get outta there fast.As the needles climbing to 5700 or so when it shifts outta first it doesn't shift into second gear it finally went into second when i let of the throttle some
I think i got a big problem can anyone tell me what they think it might be hopefully somthing simple
I just installed a yank 3000 converter in it about 500 miles ago .Could it be the converter ?
or have i broken something having all the extra power from the Ati charger
if i did break something anyone know what i should do to beef it up some ?
What kind horsepower can the trannies take before they fail?

If it does this often now... you probably did what I did, Locked the valves in the 1-2 shift. It was all covered under warranty, they blamed it on the valves getting dirty (only 8500 miles), not on me racin it.
Just go take it in and see what they say (only prob is that they will blame it on the verter <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> )
Or... its something to do w/ the verter.
good luck,
-Kurt

well I found that the 1-2 shift solenoid was stuck open
It's going in on monday to get looked at
Anyone know of a heavy duty rebuild for our trannies i was thinking about corvette servos to help the crappy shifting
Anything else i could do to make this thing shift Harder and faster more efficient
So would a rebuild be as good as buying a built tranny from level ten transmissions
Any tips would help

I blew the pump, and stuck the seloniod open I my supr ****** swell stock trans. If you get it fixed, itll happen agian in 200 miles so get one built. L10 did mine, there real ****** expensive, but they work well. i chip second to third @ 8psi so im happy, if you remove your trans yourself and have them build it, it will cost you 2245+ tax& shipping if you send it to them. good luck
