there are a few different numbers for the trailblazers and some of the earlier one's didn't have as much stall.

Nice.

I was surprised to see (scan-wise) my stock converter flashing to 2100 from idle.

im new to stalls could you explain them to me?

What is the point of break stalling?

what if flash stall?
all i know is that when i pounch the gas it stalls up to 2300-2400rpms then goes. then when i take off normal it starts moving at about 1100-1200rpms.
thanks.

One thing you want to be careful about is the light duty clutch in the 4.2l converter can not stand up to the increased h.p. and torque. The lighter springs in the damper will not hold up under heavy accelaration. which will in time cause a converter to come apart and take out the transmission also. We have done extensive testing on this model and in our clutch is upgraded in our trt series converters which we have had great results with this in suv's and trucks putting out 500 rwhp. For more info check out our website at
converter.cc

thanks
