i recently spoke with someone that had failures of their yank converters one of them i believe was the tcc. one of them didn't make it a day and another didn't make it a couple weeks. the trailblazer converter he's using now has a pretty decent amount of miles on it at last conversation and no problems.....

I am not sure where you got your information from but since i have been involved with yank we have had no converters come back with a tcc problem.

If you no who these people are i would like to know because they did not come back to us i would remember a converter that failed in one day or two weeks. I can give a whole list of peoples name and dealers of ours who have put these converters in the last six months that love them.

Dave,
I bought a Yank converter for my SS Silverado. My fastest time to date with it was 12.23 @109. It lasted 6 days. On the sixth day on my way home from work the clutch started to chatter at low speeds(stop and go traffic jam) It filled my trans with metal fragments. We took the trans apart and cleaned it out, then installed a Trailblazer converter. The Trailblazer converter has been in for about 13,000 miles (since June when I sent the Yank Back). Today I went 12.30@ 111.8 (it sixty's faster with the looser Yank Converter). You guys still have my converter. It came back to you from Wheel To Wheel Powertrain.
